Raw Seams are the inner seams of every creation. It is what is hidden inside every garment, accessory or anything else you can imagine, that is made of fabric. Therein lie the secrets for the making of a product. Each one has its own inner world that you have not yet explored!
Raw Seams became a reality in the summer of 2020, after the pandemic had affected all of us deeply. It begun as an outlet for my passion for designing and sewing, while making things that people needed at the time, like facemasks and small accessories to brighten up their indoor lives.
Deeply concerned for the environment and my imprint on it, I strive to use my materials in a zero-waste method. I achieve that by cutting the fabric in the best way possible to avoid waste. Also, having few products that are all made upon order is limiting the excess of unsold inventory and waste as well.
The pattern for the facemask was developed by making many samples to ensure the best fit possible. Knowing how important staying protected during the pandemic was, I wanted a product that would have a snug fit and was made from the best materials to make it breathable and safe.
As a new entry in the Raw Seams collection, 4 bucket hats were added in two different materials: Bouclé and Corduroy.
